Call for Nominations to the New Zealand Association of General Surgeons Executive
Are you passionate about advancing General Surgery in New Zealand? Would you like to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our profession?
The New Zealand Association of General Surgeons (NZAGS) is seeking nominations for our Executive Committee, with terms beginning 21 March 2026.
Early December a call will go out to members regarding any Executive Committee vacancies for the coming year, and nominations are now being sought for three positions beginning 30 March 2025.
The Executive Committee has four meetings per year, comprising one face to face meeting immediately prior to the ASM in March/April, and three quarterly online meetings. In addition, there is often correspondence that gets distributed for feedback between meetings.
Nominations will be voted on by members at the Association’s Annual General Meeting.
You may nominate a member from your department (with permission), or yourself if you would like to become involved, by using the NZAGS Nomination Form 2026.
