Strategic Plan

The NZAGS Executive meet every year to consider the strategic direction of NZAGS by updating the five year strategic plan.  The resulting Strategic Plan identifies the following key areas:

  • Branding, image & promotion –  in particular create a clear identity for NZAGS
  • Governance  – ensuring that governance structures recognise NZAGS as its own entity
  • Education & training – includes ensuring all trainee experience a rural rotation
  • Workforce – particular attention on retiring and new consultants
  • CPD
  • Relationships
  • Professional employment services
